Mike is a Minnesota-born director and writer whose comedic voice rose out of trying to make Polish art school graduates laugh. His work has been featured in Vulture, NoBudge, and Directors Notes, and has screened internationally at festivals including Fantastic Fest, Flickerfest, Hollyshorts, Cinequest, Atlanta Film Festival, and Seattle International Film Festival. Mike won a Clio while working as an advertising copywriter in Warsaw, Poland (where he lived for 5 years) and has been recognized by The One Show, Cannes Lions, and Ads of the World.

Lanie Lim
Lanie is an actor and writer whose accolades go all the way back to winning the D.A.R.E. essay contest in elementary school. She has studied at Second City in Chicago and The Groundlings in LA, where she met Mike and Michael. Her acting credits include such series as Casual and The Thundermans. Together with White and Wong, her short films have been featured in Vulture, NoBudge, and Omeleto, and have screened internationally at festivals including Fantastic Fest, Flickerfest, Cinequest, Indie Memphis, Rooftop Films, and Maryland Film Festival.

MICHAEL JAMES WONG
Michael is an actor and filmmaker—originally from the Bahamas—who studied bioengineering before deciding to pursue a more creative journey. Previous acting credits include The Hard Times of RJ Berger, “How to Fire Someone (with Jules and Jonas),” and “Düsseldorf.” Together with Lim and White, his short films have been featured in Vulture, NoBudge, and Omeleto, and have screened internationally at festivals including Fantastic Fest, Flickerfest, Cinequest, Indie Memphis, Rooftop Films, and Maryland Film Festival.

Matthew lynn

For his entire life, Matt's focus has been on creating worlds that inspire the imagination. Through film he learned that this gift can not only bring ideas to life, but also change the world. It is this unique perspective that has propelled him to tell stories on a larger scale. Beyond worldwide theatrical release, his work has been played at SXSW (2023 Audience Choice Winner), Cannes, Tribeca, TIFF, Frameline, Outfest and more while also receiving both Gotham and Queerty award nominations. After attending the American Film Institute Conservatory's MFA program, Matthew traveled around the world with projects including feature films, documentaries, music videos, series, national commercials and has created original shows for Discovery Networks, Q-Digital and Dekkoo. He’s also served as the cinematographer for work with QC Entertainment, NEON, Cadillac, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Lush Cosmetics, Caitlyn Jenner, and The Tannenbuam Group. His calm, confident leadership skills bring a unique perspective to his work.
Gi-ling lo
Gi-Ling was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. Both of her parents are Taiwanese immigrants. In 2018, She graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Fine Arts and Minor in Production Design. Since then, she has continued to work on as many Chapman student films as she can, completing over 20 independent shorts and also a feature as Production Designer. Influenced by both western and eastern art, film and literature since she was young, Gi-Ling wants to bridge the gap between the two cultures. Her main goal as a filmmaker is to help bring unconventional stories about race, gender and class to the attention of the common viewer. Her feature, Obscure, was selected in the FIRST International Film Festival in China and nominated in the International New Talent Competition at Taiwan Film Festival. Her shorts Before the Thunder and Mr. Throw Em Down the Stairs have also been selected in film festivals in Los Angeles.

Laramie got her start Off-Off Broadway, where she spent a decade directing and developing offbeat new plays before defecting to L.A. She recently completed principal photography on WHERE IN THE HELL, her feature film directing debut, an arthouse buddy comedy her exec producer has described as “Almost Lynchian… Grounded David Lynch? Is that a thing?” She has meanwhile built a supporting career as a script supervisor on such series and films as HBO’s Winning Time and The Prank.
